When I first wrote ”Voice Friom the Soul of Trees” I was so driven. The concept for the book was like viewing the world through a set of lens that allowed me to capture words that spewed forth - I call them God’s words.
The book of poetry provides a contrast of nature to life; their parallel collage, and a voice that blends them all together. Trees, and my connection with them has always intrigued me. They represent how life can co-mingle , how they create their own palette, and how collectively - family, friends, extended family, and people that protect you and love you, unite as one big “universal “ tree.
”Hovering limbs, knotty branches, and deep roots”. Trees represent our lives in so many levels. Trees are strong, stout, and sturdy.
Trees represent wisdom, life, living, being grounded with the strength of mankind - providing shelter and unity.
Reminiscent of life, our distinctive lifestyles, and sometimes disjointed realities, look to the soul of the trees.
As inspiring as trees are to me, music, the water, flowers, waking up pre-dawn, riding in the country, road trips, gentle rainfalls., and the such, also touch me inspirationally.

This spoken word project is not my signature poem from the book, but definitely epitomizes the essence of me and my ”voice” and an excerpt of my writing style of inspirational poetry. Enjoy!!!
